I'm going to be looking for someone to contribute an article or two to RBDA for the first couple of weeks of March, since I'll be out at East Wind and I probably won't be able to update RBDA from the field. I don't want to leave the site sitting empty for half a month, though, haha.

If you're interested, e-mail me at arbeedoesairsoft@gmail.com with the subject heading "March Contributor" and we'll discuss it. Thanks!

AOSC Frequent Player Cards

With this new program, players who regularly attend AOSC events may not have to chrono in the parking lot.

As of February 19th, 2015, the governing council of the AOSC unanimously decided to support the Frequent Player program. According to this program, “any player age 16 or older at the time of issuance, who has attended at least three AOSC games within a 6 month period immediately prior to applying for said card, and has had no rule violations or disciplinary action of any kind previously taken, may apply for an AOSC card that identifies them as a frequent player.”

What does this mean for you, as a player? Well, it means that, if you qualify for and present your Frequent Player Card, you won’t be required to chrono your weapon before games, meaning that what was a lenghty, tiresome process before can now be done quickly, if it needs to be done at all. As part of this initiative, the AOSC has also standardized minimum engagement distances (MEDs) and the tags used to mark them on a weapon.

I've got an announcement for you guys:

For those of you who weren't at the SQA game on February 14th and haven't met Todd and his wife Mariah, well, shame on you, they're wonderful people. The good news is that you should be seeing them around a bit more at local events. Todd (Sedjet on these here forums) has agreed to become my partner-in-crime at RBDA. I've known this guy for years, he's given it to me straight when other people won't (take that any way you will), but he's not great at introductions, so... yeah. This is technically his intro post.

Anyway, he'll be helping me out at the SQA game on March 28th, where we'll be doing our first Field Spotlight. Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

I am only going to add a little bit to Arbee's post there. I am a straight shooter, I have issues holding my tongue when I see something wrong, and I have a bit of a limited vocabulary unless I am in an decent debate. I will likely post little and watch all. I will say I am looking forward to meeting new people and getting to know people I have already met better. Good luck out there and I hope to see you soon.

Sedjet.

P.S. Also I am rather rough around the edges and likely seem more serious than I actually am. I am laid back for the most part. I just do not have any easy way of showing it text format.

Wow, been awhile since I gave the old forum some love.

For those of you who browse, Dom's got a new game in the works, looking to be two of them each year, with multiple smaller games based around the same concept thrown in for good measure. This series is called Operation: Graycell, and you can read the RBDA exclusive, penned by Dom himself, by visiting the following link:
